Jordan Sessions: Life from Texas to Los Angeles
Jordan MacKenzie Sessions was born on January 18th, 1993 in Lubbock, Texas. She is the youngest of three children. She has a brother, Brandon, and sister, Briley. She is called JMac by family and friends.
Jordan moved to Austin, Texas with her family when she was in kindergarten, and graduated (in three years) with honors from Lake Travis High School in 2010. Why the rush? Jordan couldn't wait to move to Los Angeles to chase her dreams.
Jordan's first passion was dance. At the age of nine, she started dancing to be social and hangout with her girlfriends, but she soon became hooked and began dancing over 30 hours a week under the instruction of her teacher and mentor Heather O'Hara.
Jordan danced competitively for eight years and won several national dance titles, before moving to Los Angeles at the age of seventeen to attend Loyola Marymount University. She graduated (in three years) with honors in May 2013 with a degree in dance and film. Why the rush? Well, a college degree was part of the agreement with Jordan's mom....if Jordan moved to Los Angeles...she had to go to college!
During her three years in Los Angeles, Jordan had turned her focus towards acting. She graduated in July from the prestigious Joanne Baron/ D.W. Brown Acting Studio's two year program, and has performed in various film and television projects. The highlight being her role in the feature film, Stepping High, where she was able to combine both her passions...acting and dance!
Jordan continues to study acting, and live the life she has dreamed about!
